It is very well made. Really great size for our small dog - she has tons of room to move around. Set up and take down is very easy. The carrying case is slim and easy to store in a closet or back of car. So glad I purchased.

Amazing and exactly as advertised. Super convenient carrying case that folds flat. This pops up and disassembles easily, folding flat. There’s a side opening for entry and exit and the top can be covered or open.We have an 8 week old puppy, so we opened the side and left it in the living room for him to get comfortable with it. He loves it!Ventilation on all sides helps outdoors and he doesn’t feel “trapped”. Now we leave it in the living room open and he sometimes goes in just to take a nap or when there’s company or sensory overload going on.This is a must have for a pet owner!

Whoever thought of this pet playpen was a genius. It is absolutely perfect for our 3 lb Yorkie puppy. Bought one in the 29 x 29“ size (medium - shown in pictures), and it was perfect for the night time play/sleep pen. We liked it so much that we bought one in the 36 x 36“ size (large) and it’s perfect for a daytime pet pen. This playpen is lightweight (both sizes weigh less than 2 lbs. in their very lightweight nylon carry bags with the helpful pop up water bowl). They are easy to carry and set up in less than 30 seconds. There is a nylon smell when you first open and set up the pet playpen but in goes away in less than an hour of leaving it up. The best thing is our little Yorkie loves it. One of the side panels unzips and has Velcro on it so it can be left open. She goes right in and lays down on her bed. When I have to secure her. I just zipped the panel. I can tell you it would not work for dogs that are heavy jumpers or are spastic clawers to get out of their space. The webbing like in a Sherpa bag, and I have seen a sharp clawed (spastic Yorkiepoo) Tear through the nylon webbing on a good Sherpa bag. So the only reason I’d recommend someone not to buy this playpen is if they have a heavy jumper or scratcher/clawer who could probably destroy this playpen easily.

Absolutely Perfect! Excellent option for our senior furbaby. Folds up in seconds and is easy to travel with. We can use it everywhere, in the house, at friend's houses, on the dock, hotel rooms, etc. Definitely recommend.

This puppy playpen is a godsend. We’ve had it for our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy for two months—and for most of that time it’s been a convenient place to put the pup when she can’t be supervised closely (though she’s big enough now that she could tip the pen over if the cover isn’t zipped on). Most of the time, though, we just have a soft blanket in the bottom of it, and a bunch of toys, and leave the door open, and let the puppy go in and out as she pleases. At first she’d pull every toy (and even the blanket) out—but now she treats the playpen as her “room” and hangs out in it, usually sitting in the doorway to watch us. She also “buries” her teething ring under the blanket in the pen.Last week, we wedged the pen in the doorway between our living room and library and discovered it makes a great puppy gate. The only downside I’ve noticed is that the top is difficult to line up to zip on, so we always keep 6 inches zipped—even when we want to keep the top open.

This is perfect for when I take my dog with me on trips. It is very spacious for him to run around in and still have his toys. I like that there is mesh all around so that he feels comfortable seeing me when he is inside. I have a Pomeranian that is 8lbs. I used this at the beach also and it was a quick pop up setup , faster then unfolding my chair. The carrying case is great to protect it and for storage it does not take up much space it is very think and folds up to about an inch. The color is very gender neutral so I do recommend it for all dogs.

The back of one of my Dachshunds' went out. The vet said that she mustn't move any more than necessary. She would cry the entire time that she had to be in her crate which was very stressful on both of us. I found the Unleashed Pets Play Pen and thought I would give it a try. I got the medium one and it's a perfect fit for her, her bed fits in with room for a water dish. She seems content in it she doesn't cry and I don't feel like I'm neglecting her. I don't worry about leaving her in it when I go out of the house, it's so well made she can't break out of it. I like the fact that it folds up so compactly and fits in a case, so easy to store. I would recommend it to anyone

The product came quickly and is exactly as advertised! I haven't used it as I had intended (traveling in the car for 11 hours with the playpen acting as a larger space for the accompanying cat - pray for me) yet, but I have opened the pen and played with how I will arrange it in my vehicle.More on that:- I ordered the medium size pen, as I am intending to put a cat (10 months and on the larger scale at 8-10 lbs) along with a water bowl, blanket, and small litter pan inside, but was worried the larger size would impede the view out of my back window.- In a test run, everything fits, the pen fits in the car (I have the seats folded down [I also have a dog] in a mini-SUV), and the cat's accoutrements fit!I ordered this particular playpen both because of the existing reviews for the product (strong, sturdy, and durable materials) were positive and I liked the look of the product out of my eventual list of three contenders.I will update this review after my travels to report on whether or not the terrible terror that is the kitten chewed its way out.

I ordered this product for my cat, as he’s always grumpy about being left inside while the rest of the family is out. Though it’s winter (it’s his Christmas gift ), I went ahead and set it up for him in the house. It was like a ‘crazy man’ switch was instantly flipped.Other than the obvious approval from my cat, this product is very well-made. The top was easy to attach/remove and the mesh walls feel like they will be sturdy and hold up for a long time. Thanks for a great product, definitely recommend.

This product made my move across the country less stressful for not only my cats but for me as well. I bought 2 - one for each cat. I used them a few days before we left our residence as our furniture was being slowly removed and their favorite spots dissembled; I used them in the hotel as we drove across the country, and I used them to acclimate them the first few days in our new home. These playpens not only provided them a secure place of their own while their whole world was changing it kept me from worrying about them stressing out during the whole event - which provides enough to worry about on its own. They liked them so much that they often returned to them even though they had free reign of the new house after a few days. OMG.... if your moving with cats in the future.... you need to get this!!
Laura
I have two of these for kittens. I like that the mesh is pretty sturdy and has held up to tiny kitten claws. I have one current kitten who will climb the sides and hasn't poked any holes. On one, the zipper did come unsewn at the top. I had to stitch it back closed. It is NOT waterproof at all and a liquid will soak through the bottom. I am only giving 4 stars because I do wish the fabric on the bottom was thicker. It's very thin. I've had to support the bottom with a 36' waterproof bed pad. I use that on the bottom because it's thick and heavy, which adds structural support to the 'pop up' nature of the pen. Then I put my disposable liners on top of that. For the price, it's a pretty good value. If you're looking for something a little sturdier/more durable, it's probably just average.

We are extremely happy with the Ruff n Ruffus portable foldable pet play pen. This item works so well and offers the pet it’s own place, that it’s worth every penny. As many a pet can become bored and destructive, yet needs to be contained while home alone, this product offers comfort and an open feel that is welcoming to our puppy. We have used crate training techniques for decades, and find with many of our canine friends that they can overtime become the pets safe place, and they will retreat to them for comfort. However, none has offered the security and comfort this product does. Our new puppy has taken to the hard plastic of its Sky Kennel designed kennel well enough, but still whines and wants out, and never enters it on its own. Conversely, the Ruff n Ruffus portable play pen has our new puppy using it all throughout the day, on its own, as a play pen with an open door. The puppy goes in and out on its own (while we are home with it) to take a snooze, rough house with toys, self soothing comfort, and just to relax. It’s truly amazing that it will get up and walk across the room to lay in its circular structure, on its circular bed (not provided) and sleep or play. We are very pleased and have and will recommend this product to anyone with pets.

I got this playpen for my 2 cats to travel from Florida to NC. I was expecting it to be 36 x 36, but it is only 30 x 30. It will be a tight fit for 2 cats and a small litter box (as cats can't go outside for a bathroom break), and food and water dishes.I think we can make it work if I give them a mild sedative (which I hate to do) and the trip is only about 11 hrs.The overall construction is good and I like that the top opens up and it's easily set up ,It's gonna be fun!!!!…..NOT

A bit smaller than expected, so now have ordered the large size. It is well made and easy to set up. This smaller size will fit a very small dog, or (as we are using it for) a kitten. She is still too tiny to have free roam of the house, so at night, this is her home. Large enough to hold a cat bed, small litter pan, a bowl for food and another for water. Not much space to move around with all that in it, but works fine for night time sleeping.

This was a fantastic product! We took our 14 week doodle puppy camping for a weekend, and took this with so we could contain the craziness when setting up the tent etc (basically doing anything productive). It worked brilliantly! He loved being able to look out and see us, and we liked that we could access it from the top, yet close up the roof too. It was super light and super flat, so fit really well in our car, and assembled in about 7 seconds.

Bought this for our kitten, for those moments that I needed her to be safe and not under foot. She had separarion issues and did Not like to be in there alone. Then, we brought home a full grown cat, and this was one of the ways we slowly introduced them. We used this for supervised play time and eventually, after a few weeks, the large Russian blue, started playing with the fearless kitten, by tapping at her through the screen. Now, they dive in and out of the open side flap and wrestle in it. They love it.

I am a certified Amazon Prime Junkie. This product has been one of the best purchases I have ever made on Amazon. I have been using it to domesticate a litter of feral kittens and it has worked out extremely well. Seller reached out to me to make sure everything was acceptable. Communication with seller has been stellar. It has been far superior than a cage not to mention more affordable. It practically sets itself up when you take it out of the package. Very easy to take down and relocate also very easy to clean. Liquid resistant nylon minimallises accidents. I drop a blanket over this at night and kittens fall asleep within minutes after a full day of activity. If you are an Amazon shopper that appreciates a great product at a great price then this is the selection you should make.

I recently ordered this because I was getting a new Yorkie for my wife. When I presented it to my better half, she complained that it was too hard to assemble.Literally, there was no assembly involved. She had erroneously assumed it required assembly because it came in a box from Amazon.I pulled it this way, then that way and told her, 'Voila!'BOTTOM LINEFive stars out of five. And we do love it, as the five stars indicates.

Light weight, portable, very easy to use. We have a cavapoo puppy, who is very frisky, and does not like to be isolated/separated from mom and dad. Having said that, he is certainly able to move the playpen around when he is in it and pouting! However, the product is well-made, and so much easier to use than the old-fashioned heavy bulky wire crate. I know my pup is safely confined when he is in it, and that is my number one objective. Clearly, your purchase decision will depend upon the breed, size and temperament of your pet. But for our purposes, we are delighted with this purchase and plan to rely on its quality and versatility for many years to come.Love the bonus water dish, thank you!

This is perfect for keeping my mom’s little yorkie from getting under foot when we are busy cleaning, cooking, or even visiting a friend’s home. Billy Jean doesn’t mind the play pen and it’s the perfect size. Easy to fold and stash in the tote bag and this is an attractive, quality item that I believe will last. I highly recommend this item. In the picture Billie Jean is standing on her bed, but without the bed, she cannot jump out. This has a zipper top just Incase your baby is bigger.

I love this thing! Wish I had this year's ago. Works for all kinds of animals. Best thing is it's something lightweight and easy to bring along, easy to fold, doesn't take up much room when storing it, comes with a carry bag. It's just so handy. Also, an affordable price, Years ago I remember paying over 100.00 for a steel cage that took up tons of room, this u can pop up in middle of floor and put away when done, I sometimes don't use it everyday. I got the large and even tho u could fit a bigger dog on the actual floor space, they probably wouldn't be able to stand up and they most likely could move this or bust out of this if big and strong.

I absolutely love this product! My dachshund had three puppies and I purchased a small swimming pool for a whelping box. Since the puppies turned 5 weeks old, they began escaping the pool, wandering around, getting lost or hiding. I needed something to contain them during the day but especially at night. This playpen has been a great help. At first i thought I purchased too large of an item, but now that the puppies are growing there is quite a bit of room for them to play, eat and sleep. Actually all 5 of my dachshunds (3 puppies and their parents) can fit in this playpen comfortably. The color is beautiful and I love that I can fold it up and put it away. THIS WAS A GREAT PURCHASE!

Update 2019: I am up to 1 XL and 2 medium- these portable pens are being used as emergency shelter for 1 rooster and a new flock of 8 chicks! Having the two side by side allows them to see each other till I can repair the outdoor coop that was destroyed. If you have chickens get a bunch of these! Excellent emergency shelters / sick or injured medical pen / traveling pen - put down piddle pad liner and top with pine shavings - very easy clean up! Use these inside house and indoor cat does not bother chickens. The mediums are perfect for SUV and cat in one pen / chicken in other pen travelled on 12 hr. trip to FL - Mother loved the company - and the zip pen chicken by the pool was the talk of the neighborhood! Just ordered extra large pen for rooster that needs more space while indoor. Just bought extra large for rooster - he loves it!!

This is great! It is so easy to fold up and cary, you can bend two sides in on themselves to fit for a safe car ride in the passenger seat or to limit area for sleeping. I can put my puppy's bed inside and he still has room for toys and/or bowls. He loves it! The option to leave the top open or closed and for the puppy entrance to be opened or closed allows for so many different options. Highly recommend! I bought a second one from a different brand and its not as good. Also, the bonus water bowl is great!

I got this for my cat so when we are out and about she could be out with us and be safe. It goes up in seconds and easy to take down. She absolutely loves it, she hardly wants to leave! It's a great size for her, plenty of room to move around! Comes with a carrying case and collapsible bowl as well! Super product, very well put together! Also go here right on time. Would definitely recommend!

I just bought another one since these are so fantastic. I use it to confine my elderly peke while he eats so the other dogs don't bother him I've used it to help care for a confine my other elderly peke who developed dementia(yes this horrible disease happens to dogs). And we just trapped 2 kittens who were not much than 5 weeks old and no mom around. Kennels and cages would not confine them since they were so tiny they could squeeze thru. absolutely perfect for these babies. I will be recommending these tot a local cat rescue group. They are perfect, even if the critter is frightened it can't hurt itself like it could in a pen or crate. This product has infinite uses for folks with critters. And with the great price and the way it folds fpr storage it's worthwhile to have one on hand just in case. And it's a piece of cake to clean and disinfect if necessary.

I bring my pup to work, and needed something that she could be comfy in, and somewhere I could place her in when customers came in. (Because sometimes she's a barky mcbark face and likes to rush people who walk in the door like she is our guardian dragon) This is perfect. I ordered the large because I thought the medium wouldn't give her enough room if she wanted to stand or move, but as you can see in the pics, it is more than enough room, even with her huge bed placed in it. (She is a mini American Eskimo and weighs 15lbs) You can zip the top on, but I usually leave it off. I like how the 'door' can be velcro'ed up and out of the way. It comes with a little carry bag that you can stuff in if you can get it folded back the way it is supposed to. *edit: Apparently there is a note that tells you the best way to fold it back up...I must have been too excited to read directions* I also love the color. The only thing I do not like is that the fabric around the top is not even (you can see in the pictures), but other than that mildly annoying feature I love it...Manolo is slowly getting used to it, but I think she likes it. It's a really good quality for the price. I will definitely buy another when the time comes, and would recommend it to others!

I have a brand new 8 week old West Highland Terrier. I ordered this playpen to use in my kitchen to keep the puppy contained while I cook. The playpen is very well constructed with heavy duty screening so she can look out at every angle. The zip up door has two pullers making it 'push out' tight. It is light weight so you can just pick it up and quickly put it any place. It pops right up into place and then easily folds down into the included carrying case. We go to Florida for the winter and will take this along as it hardly takes up any space when in the case. I am so pleased with this purchase!

My husband and I are moving to Hawaii from the East coast. The trip overall is about 15 hours and with a cat I'm just as nervous as she is going to be. So I did some research to find a product that I can let her out for some stretching between flights. This is so perfect. I have popped it up in our apartment to get her acquainted with it and it's hasn't let us down yet. I purchased the smaller size so it'll fit in our carry on but it does make it difficult for a litter box to fit. Also, if your pet is a harry Houdini (lol) they may be able to get out of this pretty easily. The top zipper stays closed but there is no clasp or anything.

I wondered if this would work to comfortably confine my elderly dog while I am at work. He loves it. I’m not sure if it would withstand a dog scratching to get out, but if the pet was trained and liked the space like a home, such as kennel trained, this is perfect. It folds up for travel. Can be completely closed in for a cat or rabbit, etc. or even a dog that might want to jump out. It’s airy. They can see all around through the mesh. My dog goes inside by choice and lays in his bed I put inside. It was the perfect addition to my older dogs transition to confinement, but allowing him movement during the day. It comes with a travel bowl, but I just put the regular water bowl in. Plenty of room, but not too big. It’s just right!

I got this for my cat when I take her to the park with me. Basically don't want her getting bit by bugs or just in general prevent her from getting in trouble. I haven't had any issues with it so far and I have had it for almost a year. Please keep in mind I've only used it maybe around 30 times since purchasing and my cat usually doesn't try escaping things anymore in her old age, she is pretty chill. So i haven't had any issues as far as tearing like other reviewers have said. I love that it's fully portable easy to carry in the case the bonus collapsible bowl is great too. I ordered the large and I can fit her bed and a water and food bowl. I line it with a folded towel for comfort as padding and in case of any accidents. I'm hoping it will last for a long time

This product is sturdy, large enough for my 16lb, very long man cat. Unfortunately, I am not sure I will keep it. I wanted to use it to stop my cat from meowing at my bedroom door and hitting the door knob at 4 am. I put his bed and litter box inside (that’s all that fit in the 36”) and the plan was to close the bathroom door until I get up. Well I tried it, he scratched and scratched and I was afraid his sharp claws would rip through it so I took him out. I didn’t want to ruin it. It seems pretty strong as there were no scratch marks inside. I’m still on the fence bc it might be good on a warm day if he wants to hang out outside (he’s an indoor only kitty). Product is great though.

Only had it a short while, seems to be pretty good for the price, my cat is getting used to it. We will be using this to drive across country, so that will be the true test. Tough to review a product without putting it through the rigirs you got it for. Perhaps i will remember to come back and update this once the journey is over. To date, for the price, it seems well made, and the collapsible bowl is a nice touch, handy little carrying case as well, opens easily. Perhaps my rating will go to five stars should it hold up.

Okay so when I first bought this I used it for our six month old puppy for bed time and within like two days that little brat figured out how to chew his way out of it- lol! That being said- I did find that EVEN though it was completely broken up with one panel missing it still stood like a champ, this thing lasted a whole YEAR being used as a toy bin for our three dogs and some of our cats toys. When it finally caved we bought the extra large cause our fur children have so MANY TOYS and we really loved this thing as a toy basket. Now don’t get me wrong I’ve been to PLENTY of houses where people used this for their cats and dogs but it’s mainly for smaller breeds. Other than that utilize it the best way you can, it’s perfect for any pet need quite honestly. Sometimes my older fur children even sleep in it! Thanks guys for an amazing purchase. Also note to those reviews that had videos of the playpen popping back into folded position, not to be rude just a simple critique but sometimes those metal rungs get bent, nothings stopping ya from “re- bending” them back to normal shape to keep the playpen open. Remember it’s your purchase and as a consumer you have a responsibility to make your purchase work for you- not every purchase is supposed to cater to you to its fullest, ecspecially if it’s a bargain product. Again no hate or malice just an adulting tip. Thanks!

I actually have 3 of these great playpens! The small one I use as just a sleeping area instead of a kennel. I have 2 medium size ones as play areas for both my home and my vacation condo. They are spacious, sturdy, affordable and travel well. Hard to compete with that!! They have helped immensely with potty training my puppy and he does not mind being in there for extended periods. I leave the door open when I am not containing him and he goes in and lays on his bed all by himself. I can't thank you enough for making my life easier without breaking the bank or making me climb over cumbersome gates!
Tamar
It did not stand up to my overly active puppy. If you have a strong and sizeable puppy, it will just bend and fold up. However that didn't matter because he loves it. Sometimes he allows it to stand up and he goes in and sleeps calmly inside. But sometimes it's just a great big toy that he gets hours of entertainment from. He dives upon the sides of it, crushing it, turning it on it's side, turns it into a small tight cave that he hides in, or chews on the edges. He growls at it and can entertain himself for extended periods of time. I'm saying it's not that sturdy and doesn't stand up strong to my puppy who was about 11 pounds at 8 weeks old and is over 20 pounds at 12 weeks old. But this little playpen sits in my kitchen and is so much fun for him, that it is worth every penny. I bought the bigger size that's upstairs in my bedroom and he sleeps happily in the larger one. This one is just like a fun-house for him. And yes, sometimes he calms down and sleeps in there.
Rachel
I love this product. I got the x-large and I can say it is roomy enough that i would sleep in there. Definitely go for the bigger one because the space 100% matters to the doggy. My puppy is not even 5 pounds and he plays like a maniac in the pen.My puppy doesn't like to be confined, but this gives him a compromise so he can see all around the room while staying quietly in his pen. I bring this with me a when I go to friend's houses and when I take him to the park (still baby) He can play while still enjoying the outdoors and mommy(me)gets to relax cause he can't get out.The strong mesh keeps him from getting out and the zipper is strong to withstand his roughhousing. My only disappointment is the missing portable bowl. It would have been perfect to for Butters when he is at the park.II am buying another and replacing my permanent pen with it because it feels so much more secure and it's lighter and easier to clean. I can't wait to set one up at his auntie's and grandma's house!

This was purchased after finding out I'd have to bring my cat along on my annual camping trip, and it kept my girl calm and safe in her own space. It was placed inside my tent and had enough space for my adult cat, and water and food bowls. I wouldn't place outside directly on the floor because the floor paneling seems delicate, but I had a cardboard slate and it worked out. Pretty easy to fold once you get it down, and the case makes it convenient for travel- the collapsible bowl is a nice added touch! Overall it is a functional, convenient product, that I'd recommend for a chill animal that just needs their own space.

Absolutely love this play pen! Popcorn is usually so hyper and jumping around but she's so calm just sitting in here and let's me do things around the house without worrying about her, and she can still see me and doesn't feel lonely. Would highly recommend to all dog owners!

This is a nice, inexpensive playpen for a small breed puppy. It works well for what I needed, but may not work well for everyone. My 5 month old/6 pound puppy has been using it for 2 months and she has figured out how to get out. It's not heavy enough that she can't flip it onto its side. At that point it collapses in on itself. I would not recommend this for larger puppies. We mostly only use it for short confinement, like while our elderly dog is eating, or during a bathroom break. The one thing I don't like is that the floor is water permeable. So if she misses the pee pad, both the playpen and the floor underneath have to be cleaned. But the playpen itself is easy to clean. It can be hosed out and left to dry in the sun.

I ordered the smaller version, 29', to house a kitten abandoned on my patio when he was just a coupe of weeks old. It collapses/folds down into 8 12' x 18' panels , internally held together with wiring. Very easy to set up, and the only other part is the round mesh top which in attached by means of a zipper. Comes with a little bag to carry it. When open it does not take up a lot of room. and is light, making it easily to handle ( as opposed to rigid metal mesh cages). Love the zip top and the sturdy mesh around the sides and top. So my little orange fuzz ball has been cuddled up at night and when I'm out of the house for about 6 weeks now. There is room for a larger cat box, towels and a few toys. It's quite sturdy and it has survived countless cleanings with disinfectant and a hose, dries quickly in the sun and easily folds up when we go visiting. Have to say it's the handiest, cleverest, most practical habitat for little creatures I've ever seen. Obviously an older, stronger, mature cat could probably do some damage, and I expect in a coupe of months he will out grown it, but for now it perfectly houses him. It's simply ingenious and a bargain at this price. Delighted and amazed!

Just Purrrrfect!. A cat wondered into our home all the way from SoCal carrying four unknown passengers. This was what we bought on a whim and another reviewer's suggestion as to where to house mama and baby kittens for the moment. Well, That was a Great idea. Our Super Anxious new Mama feels safe and secure inside her Pet playpen. We let it air out for 24 hours and now they are all hanging out inside of it at barely two weeks old. We bought the large size. It is just the right size for the medium sized pet bed, one cat and four kittens. The construction is fairly durable for being so light weight. If you've ever opened a pop up child's tent, Same thing. It folds down to nothing, weighs nothing and sets itself up. The top zips on and off easily and there is a small pet door on the side that rolls up and velcroes. It slides easily down the hall and squeezes through doorways without collapsing, fully up right. I Heavily suggest.

Only thing I’d change I’d have a removable floor that way it would not tip over. I’m going to use foam board that splits in the middle to fold like for science projects and cut it to fit. This is perfect for kittens to keep them in place for 5 minutes so I can eat or clean the house or if I have company that don’t want them on them. I also put them in there when carting things from the car so they don’t run out the door while I’m doing it I have 3 kittens lol it’s just like s child’s play pen it says for dogs but You can use it for any small animal works great. The top zips on and off I would buy this again it’s a great idea for small dogs like Yorkies or any small dog or cat my cats are now 6 months and they just lay and play in it.
RichC_Colorado
I used the playpen for transporting my two cats on a drive from Colorado to the east coast. I set it up on some boxes in the back of the SUV, so they were able to see out through the mesh as we drove. It was large enough to give them some room to move around, and sturdy enough to keep them confined when they thought they needed to explore more of the car. The mesh was also easy enough for me to see through that it didn't block the view in my rear-view mirror. I would definitely recommend it to someone needing to transport their cat(s) or small dog(s) in this way.
Lotus3
I gave this 4 stars because once my dog exited the playpen, he walked around it and put himself in it which is when I took the pic. It took me about 30 minutes to lure him in with a treat and another 10 minutes to get him out but I think he likes it. This was purchased for a possible one time use, maybe more, we're using it at the beach in the next few weeks so I hope it all works out. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is because while it says it's an extra large, it's an extra large for a Cocker Spaniel, Schipperke or a Basset Hound. I have a boxer and saw it was fine, while he can't stand he has ample room to lie down and stretch out and he's long since he's a boxer mix. Now I'm ready for sunrises at the beach with my boy!! Oh and it has an unforgiving smell too!! It smells like fresh tires and a chemical combo so open the windows or use it outdoors! I sprayed it with Febreze and that was a joke so let it air out as much as possible, outside, if you can to try to rid the smell. It's day number 4 and it's still on my back porch...

love this playpen for my new puppy. I bring my pup to work with me so it fits nicely in my office, it folds up easily and takes up hardly any room. On the weekends we use it at camp instead of the bulky crate that we have at home. I've only used it for 3 days and already two of my friends are going to purchase one. I wish I would have had this for my other pets.

Absolutely love this pet playpen! I really don't know where to start. First very convenient to travel with the included carrying pack. Second, the size is perfect for my two kitties. Pops up in seconds with absolutely no fuss and folds down just as easily! Convenient opening at top and perfect size door opening on side! Lastly product appears to be durable and quality! Did I mention, arrive in record time and seller even followed up to make I was satisfied with product! I could go on and on, but think I've painted the picture.

It's rare for me to give any product 5 stars, in doing do all I can say is that this pen is perfect for our bunny. We have a huge indoor cage with a wooden hutch for him but we also felt he needed another safe place to play in. I mean who wants to stay in just one room of the house, right!?!So I thought this would be perfect. Light and really strong materials, well made; easy to bring to any room and great for outside play. Easy to clean too. A bit of vinegar and water in a squirt bottle, a quick wipe and its clean. We purchased the large size, our bunny will only get about 31/2 lbs. I suggest the xlarge for animals larger than that.We have a water dish, litter pan, food dish, toys and a place for his hay. There's still plenty of play space. I also have a plastic tablecloth on the bottom for easy roll up and dump. He likes to drag his hay around.Like any good parent, supervision is Important. Bunnies are chewers and although we dont have that problem, some might. To deture him from even thinking about chewing, we have lots of chewing toys to keep him occupied.Im considering purchasing another pen and attaching them together. This will be a diy project since the pens are not made to attach. I thought food, litter pan, water dish and a couple of toys on 1 side and the other pen side a hide and all the toys a young bun dreams of.I absolutely, without a doubt, recommend this pen. Just remember, this is Not a cage, animals need to be supervised at all times.

I looked over many of the play pens for pets. This one seemed to fit my needs perfectly. I campared it to others as far as size and price, there was no comparison. This one was the same price as mant of the other the same size, yet they were double or triple the price. However I chose this one becasue I LOVED the colors!!! I was kind of weary because of huge difference in price, but I figured since it was so affordable I could risk it!! When it came in, I was greatly surprised!! Not only is it as beautiful as the pictures, it is great quality!!! My little man loves it and has plenty room to play while he is at work with me!

I really, I mean, REALLY liked this little playpen. We had a house guest for a couple months and she was staying in the room Sherlock, our guinea pig, lives in. Well, Sherlock is notorious for jumping out of his cage, and our guest continually forgot to close the door when leaving the room. Every evening was a furball hunt. I ordered this playpen as a temporary home thinking Sherlock wouldn't escape with the zippered top. Since it was listed as being rabbit friendly I figured it would work. When I opened it up, I was in love with this idea and considered making it a more permanent home for him just to save ourselves from regular escapes. It was well manufactured, all the bells and whistles met my expectations. The fold up bowl was cute, and likely would be great for dog or cat. I knew the guinea pig would collapse it in a heartbeat though. So, that evening it was set up and Sherlock moved into his new home. The next morning, Sherlock was running free as can be all around my bedroom. He'd chewed a guinea pig sized hole in it. So yes, I'm disappointed. Not with the product itself. IF the description wouldn't have only said dogs and cats, I likely wouldn't have given it a look for a guinea pig, but live and learn. The product itself is definitely worth 5 stars. I took one off for rabbits, because they'd chew through it as easily as a guinea pig would.I did NOT detect any foul odors whatsoever. I noticed someone else complaining of that, and it wasn't present at all with mine.

My 8wk yorkie loves it... very spacious and gives her room for eating, sleeping, playing and her potty pads... Sturdy and happy that my money was well spent...

I have a rescue 15lb chihuahua poodle mix that had a bad experience in the past with a metal cage so she refuses to even enter them. She is now 13 and I have a 6 month old baby who is quickly taking over our house and the dog is extremely jealous after being my only baby for so long. I needed a place that was going to be only hers she could get away to when she slept during the day but i also needed something i could close without her freaking out as shes made it a terrible habit to pee on the baby's toys, mats, blankets, really whatever she can find while we sleep. This playpen worked GREAT! The first day she was a bit hesitant due to the plastic smell but that quickly wore off. I have attempted to put dog beds and blankets and other comfort things in there but she immediately pulls them out. She has claimed this little playpen as her cave, and the best part is after coaxing her the first couple nights she now runs right in when we goto bed and waits for me to zip it shut. I wasn't sure about buying this play yard because it was much cheaper than others but my dog has scratched it, pulled at it, pulled large blankets through the entrance and its still like new!! So glad I bought it!!!

This is a great portable pen for my dog when going camping or overlanding off-road or to a park or wherever and not have to worry about leashes and tie-outs and tangles and tripping over them. This is best for smaller or mid size dogs. Just under 2 feet tall. My Oliver is about 25 lbs and 15' tall at the shoulders. On a recent trip, mom's dogs (Beethoven - a Shih-tzu - and Chen Singh - a pekingese) cuddled together in the pen when we were stopped on an overland trail ride and and free from getting bitten by bug. Later they were relaxed and calm while dining in a restaurant. A blessing for sure!Unfolds easy and folds easy too. Sometimes too easy to fold. The nylon carry bag is cheap feeling but at least holds it all. Clip the folding bowl to the zipper.Bring along a blanket or pillow because the floor is just nylon. Plastic mesh window wall and doors meet up with coated fabric. Not weatherproof at all but that's good. Not heavy and bulky to carry and folds flat - about 24 x 12 x 1 inch. The only not-so-positive aspects? Some have mentioned a smell from the coating/fabric and that is to be expected but it was not overpowering. The zip in roof panel should be permanently attached and just roll up like the door.Wish the bottom floor was more like the coated fabric of the walls - thicker for durability and comfort for 'the kids'.

This play yard is so much easier to use than others I've used before. As a volunteer for a No-Kill shelter, I manage adoptions of kittens at 2 local pet stores. With this playpen, I can let several kittens play together, and it makes the kittens easier to be seen by potential adopters.Positives...the floor is attached. Other playpens have detachable floors (Velcro) from which kittens quickly find out easy escape routes. This playpen is much easier to fold and store than the other I'd used. This one is small enough I can set it on a table for accessibility. It takes up less room than the others.I do wish I'd ordered the larger size (ordered medium) Price is equitable. I did notice that after just a few hours use, the zipper is starting to separate.at the stitching

I keep telling people this product might be the best investment I have ever made on Amazon, and I mean it. Our small dog recently became paralyzed due to a birth defect, and we needed to quickly and affordably adjust our lifestyle to accommodate his limited mobility. This playpen is so convenient for times when we need to take him to the doctor/ to a family event/to the park, as we can fold it completely with one hand, while holding our pup in the other. It is very lightweight, which is so nice since everywhere our pup goes requires a lot of 'stuff.' The open top is a must for us, because getting him into a side door of a conventional crate just isn't an option anymore (though there is a zip- open side door to the playpen if your pup is mobile). The zip-off 'roof' can be nice to add shade and 'privacy.' Our pup can't jump, so we don't use the 'roof' when in the house, which is the primary location of our use. Also, since he can't jump, we have not had any issues with him knocking into the sides or causing any collapse. He's a very low- key user of the product, but it is perfect for his needs. The carry case is convenient, but not very tough. It is made of a thin vinyl, and we are experiencing some ripping on one seam after just about 3 months. I am going to try to repair it, but I still don't anticipate the carry case lasting much longer. This is not a major concern though: I still give 5 stars for the pricexquality of the playpen.

Took this for a weekend trip to stay with our friends that have 2 rambunctious Aussies who were a little too much for our 8.5lb mini doxie- this playpen saved the day! It fits under the airplane seat, weighs nothing, and allowed us to have all the dogs in the same room while keeping the little one safe. It also worked great for leaving her alone in the bedroom for a couple of hours when we went to get dinner- plenty of room to play, no way of getting into trouble. It opens up in seconds but is so well constructed that you could push in one of the corners (in case you are trying to fit around furniture) and it still holds up to a very active puppy. Very impressed she wasn't able to damage it since she had no problem slowly tearing apart her traveling bag from the inside out.

I have not one, but two herding breed puppies, 13 weeks old. To be honest I debated getting this at all because they are growing so fast that it won't be much of a playpen for very long, but my hope was for somewhere they could sleep in that was a little bigger than a wire kennel. All was well, pups did fine. I liked it great. Then they learned how to tip it over.Ok, I thought, it's not so bad. It's well made and they don't hurt themselves, it's plenty breathable so I'm not concerned about suffocation once it inevitably collapses in a giant wad of foldable-fabric-with-puppy.Then they learned how to unzip the door from the inside. So we're pretty much done at this point with it. Which is a bummer because I was really liking it. So if your puppy is one of these little fluffballs that have been selectively bred for their ability to shake uncontrollably yet maintain a cute endearment, this will probably be a great purchase. If your puppy is not dissuaded from solving even non-puzzles or is a hellion bent on exploring the universe-shaped living room, you might just go with something a bit more substantial.

I actually bought this for my daughter who has 2 little dogs. The one dog recently suffered an injury to its back and had to be restricted from jumping, playing etc. My daughter was looking for a way to keep the 2 separated but still where they could see each other and according to her this has been the perfect solution!! They can still see each other. One lays inside the pen and the other one lays just outside in the same proximity. Enough room to have the dog bed, water and food bowls, and her stuffed toy she sleeps with. I started looking for one of these, because I have one in my house for my cats. Its used as a 'time out' area, and also a private little 'get-away' for the smallest cat. My daughter and I agree that these are awesome for dogs or cats, and highly recommend it for a variety of uses!!!

Summary:Used it for cats and kittens;secure for bothSpacious enough for grown cat and kitten needsEasy to set up and take downFairly easy to cleanIf you open the top it’s a bit of a hassle to get it secure again; any gaps means cats can get in and outI got this when traveling with my cat so that she would have some room to stretch and an area that would be her safe space.I started by having it open about a week before we left so she could get in and out of it easily. Then I sprayed it down with feline calming spray before we left.I put a water fountain, bed, scratching post, some toys, a small night light, clothes that smelled like me, and a small litterbox in it and then I closed the top and covered the entire thing with a blanket and left the side open or put her in it and closed the door.Using this method she loved it and I noticed a definite change in demeanor when I left her at my sisters place all day and came back at the end of the day. She was a lot less stressed and much more confident. When she got scared she ran and hid in it instead of under the bed which is a huge plus.I also used this for kittens that my friend and I were fostering to keep them isolated and safe. This is where I had an issue. The zipper on the top had to be redone basically every time you opened it because there was this small gap that occurred when you unzipped and rezipped (it zips completely off). If I didn’t redo it the older cats would be able to open the top and get in to antogonize the kittens. I found this very frustrating because cleaning the mess (spilled food, water, and litter) wasnt as simple as unzipping and rezipping.Other than that this product works great for me and I like that it came with a collapsible water bowl. For cat owners:It is secure! When fully zipped, my grown cat and foster kittens could not get out but there is a caveat.I used this in my yard and my cat got scared, since she couldn’t get out she used it like a hamster ball which is preferable to her getting out but I do not reccomend using it in that situation if your cat is skittish.

Love this playpen! We have a large one (twice the size) but this one fits better in our RV for travelling with 2 dachshunds. Good quality and very light weight. Great deal, especially for the price!

I am moving 2400 miles with a 17-lb cat. I ordered the 36' size. Package arrived promptly and was precisely as advertised. It was very easy to unfold and set up. When I did so, I discovered that the item was going to be too big for my needs, so I collapsed it down. It was simple to get back into the carrying bag. I returned it and have since ordered the smaller 29' size, and I think it is going to work perfectly! I'll update the review once it arrives. :-)

June 20, 2019--am amending my review to reflect the fact that the zipper on the top broke after only 6 months' use. Apparently it wasn't as strong as I had originally thought and weekly use caused the teeth to rip out of the zipper. Otherwise, was a good product.------I got this for my rather large rabbit who needed a larger indoor area to exercise in. This is an excellent product as it confines the bun, has enough room for her to stand up, stretch out, put a nest box in, with enough room to spare for hopping around and doing 'bunny things'. In time she may chew through the mesh, but so far she has not as she has the room to occupy herself with her things to chew on and her toys. It is sturdy and well-made--an all-around good product for any rambunctious bunny, kitty, puppy, or small dog! When(if) I need to replace this one, this will be the product I will return to.

This comes very compact and I had a hard time believing it was the size I had ordered. I opened the carrying case up and pulled out the playpen and kept unfolding and unfolding and sure enough it was exactly as described. I love this. The top zips on so no jumping out and there is zipper door in side. Wonderful for days where you need containment and shade. Also the cooling mat I got from AKC on Amazon fits inside making it even better.

I’ve had this for about three weeks now. I’m fostering a litter of orphaned kittens, so I bought this specifically for them. This has been super convenient. The size and shape is great for keeping them contained, while having enough room to be comfortable and stretch out as much as they want. They’re a litter of five. They really like it, as well! They’re getting to the age where they can be left out to play on their own, but I leave the door rolled up and they will put themselves to bed when they are worn out. They also have been climbing the walls, scaling the mesh, climbing the outside, and I have seen no snags whatsoever. It’s sturdy enough that it’s doesnt collapse on them when they’re being a little wild. The fabric is good, the mesh is great and their little claws don’t get tangled because it is sturdy and has enough resistance. The zippers work great. I honestly have no complaints- well, maybe the smell. It did have that strong plasticky smell at first. It has dissipated, but the kittens fur still smells a bit like it. It’s not that big of a deal, because otherwise this has served its purpose wonderfully.

We have rescue cats (and 2 woofies!) .... and recently found a solitary, days-old kitten abandoned in our yard. He had a vet check, and through bottle feeding around the clock on Kitten Milk Replacer, our little 'Pumpkin' has gone from being a helpless, blind, fearful 4oz tiny bundle, to a 4 week old, 1.2lb ball of energy!Pumpkin is no longer content to just feed and sleep - he wants to play! But having other grown pets, meant we needed a safe environment for Pumpkin to explore & play in, after our one-on-one play times were exhausted. We bought the Large size Portable Folding Playpen .... and it's been fantastic! It has a zipper top, plus 2 zippered 'doors' - so getting kitty in and out is not a problem. It is even big enough (for now lol) - to house Pumpkin's 20' cat tree! The Playpen is sturdy and so far, held up to all the shenanigans of a climbing, rambunctious kitty. It really is portable too - we just fold in the sides and move it from room to room if we want kitty to be chilling in the Playpen, but still want to observe him. He has really taken to it!As a bonus, the Playpen comes with a fold up, soft 'rubber' type dish. I'm not sure how we might use this right now, but it will come in handy somewhere! My one, tiny complaint, is that when we first opened the Playpen, it had a very strong 'vinyl' smell to it. That took a good day, with the doors & roof part opened up, airing out, for the smell to leave. Once aired out, the Playpen no longer has any odors.I am really pleased with this purchase, and happy that Ruff'nRuffus stand behind their products.I will update this review to comment on the longevity of this Playpen, but at this point it is a 5-star winner for us, and I highly recommend it to other pet owners!

We have an 8 week old mini australian shepherd and we got this to keep him confined when we are cooking or just doing things around the house and can't have all our attention on him. He also sleeps in here but we do not leave him in this play pen when we leave the house because he has flipped it over a few times (there is no concern when he flips it because its just a soft material). He goes into a wire crate when we leave because I do not believe this would be sufficient if he were to get excited. We keep this in our room at night and he willing goes into it, as soon as I zipper the top he lays right now and passes out. He is about 7-10lbs right now and this play pen is perfect for him to play and sleep in. If you have a jumpy dog just be aware that they may flip it over or push the sides down because it collapses pretty easy. Right now he does not weigh enough to push the sides down if he stands on them without the top on but I wouldn't be surprised if a 15-20lb dog would. All in all this product is exactly what I wanted it for; a small easy thing that can be transported throughout the house with one hand and the pup in the other.

Amazing customer service. Amazing play pen. Our new 13 week old puppy loves her play pen. Can fit majority of her toys (spacious) and even her bed. The best part is she loves to sun bathe in it and can leave whenever she wants with the adjustable dog door. The top zipper allows easy cleaning for removing any messes and is optional to keep on or off. Very sturdy as our puppy is in her exploring stage she likes to prop herself up and this does not collapse. Highly recommend to any pet owner.

I love this to contain my puppy. She's now 6 months old, and we've had it since we brought her home at 9 weeks. I will say that I call this the 'hamster wheel,' for a good reason. She can roll this thing across the room if she wants to go somewhere. She also scratches at the screen, collapses the sides, etc. That's the only reason for 4 stars- durability is not quite there- although, she has not yet damaged the unit. It's great, but only when she's very sleepy and will just crawl in and go to bed.

Both hindlimb of my dachshund mix were suddenly paralyzed and just had a surgery. I bought this product as his temp home to limit his movement during the recovery time. The large opening roof is easy for us to take him out for feeding/bathroom/rehab activities without damaging/hurting his spine again. Playpen also has enough space (I bought a large one) to put in food/water bowls, lots of blankets, toys for him to rest and being comforted while we are not home. And it's fordable so I can easily to move the playpen around my house so he can see us.One suggestion is to make the bottom removable too for easy cleaning. Still, it's a great product and I'm glad I bought it! :)

So cute and perfect for ferrets! I got this because I needed something to hold the ferrets once I got finished hiking with them. So far I haven’t used it for hiking but they love playing in it while I have them outdoors! It’s big enough to hold their tunnel, blankets, and toys. I look forward to using this more.

I bought this for my 6 week old kitten so that when we went to visit family for Passover, he could come and be comfortable. He is too young to be left alone for too long. He was so comfortable in it! He played, slept, ate. I now keep him in it at home, instead of in the bathroom. When we are home I keep his food and water with the flap open so he can run in there and eat. He is so comfortable in it. The quality is great! His nails are so sharp, and he climbs often, but he has yet to make any holes. I bought the large one so when he gets bigger he can still enjoy the comfort.

The playpen worked pretty well for travel, although it wasn’t big enough to put in both a small potty box and food. I put a plush throw type small blanket on the floor, which made it cozy. I had some trouble attaching the round zippered ceiling. I wish they would ship it partly attached, as I hate figuring out zippers that are not at least started on the track. It’s a bit wide to sit on a truck back seat, but it worked well in a small hotel room bathroom. I give it big props for folding up into a featherweight item in a nylon envelope that would fit in a carryon. As far as adding to the weight of the packing for the trip, it wasn’t an issue at all.

Very nice playpen for my cats (1 is 10 lbs the other is 20 lbs). I wanted them to be outside with me and still be safe. of course, they could probably rip through this in a heartbeat but as long as I am out there with them while they are in it, I can keep that in check. I had a bit of an issue getting the zippered top on but once I got the zipper lined up, it was a breeze. The bottom is SEWN on so there is no possible escape as others have mentioned in playpens from other manufacturers that have only velcro bottoms. LOTS of room in this one (extra large, 48x48). I wanted to be able to put in a litter box, 2 beds, a water bowl and still give the cats room to walk around and this is perfect. It only weighs about 5 lbs and is really quick and easy to put up and take down.

Arrived flat, in its case; very easy to open; nice size (the 36” size) - fits my little dog’s bed, food&water bowl, toys, etc. Love it! I just got my dog, and this playpen is perfect for her for nighttime sleeping; as well as, times when I need to do things and can’t have her running around. She is comfortable in it, and , it is perfect ! Love the lid- keeps her in and the cat out ( important, as they are just getting to know each other and my large cat hisses at the little dog). Haven’t tried closing/folding it back up yet, and hope it is as easy as opening. It will be convenient to travel with , and, friends and family, who don’t like animals in the house, will appreciate it, and will allow her in their houses. Useful, convenient, ideal - absolutely happy with this item!

I just received this playpen but so far so good. I purchased the medium size playpen. I wanted something a little bigger than the crates I already have for two chihuahuas to be inside at the same time. This playpen is not too big or too small for two chihuahuas (small sized chihuahuas not teacup chihuahuas). This playpen has a zipper top and a zipper door and the playpen seems to be well made overall. I'll post additional updates if I have a problem in the future.

We purchased this for our five pound chihuahua. We wanted her to have something roomy and familiar for traveling and staying in hotels. We’ve started her using it at home and she seems to like it. We put one of her beds in there and she’s been using it when we have to leave her at home. There’s room in there for her food and water bowls, which will be nice for traveling.Update: We took it on our recent trip. The sides folded in, making it smaller, so we are returning it. Apparently, being closed in to the pen is different than just leaving it open for her to go in and out at Will. Oh, and FYI, she figured out how to unzip the little door so we had to secure the zipper tabs together.

We used our Unleashed Pets Portable Foldable Pen this past weekend at BunnyFest in San Diego and it was a great way to let the bunnies have room to move and for others to pet them. Einstein is 2 1/2 pounds and Grace is 6+ lbs and they had room to chillax. It is very light and folds easily. The water bowl is handy, too! We love it.

I purchased this playpen for my pup who might have IVDD. For precautions, my vet advised strict 6 week crate rest. I supplement his cage rest with the playpen so that he isn't 100% in his crate. He doesn't actually roam around too much in it but it provides more space to stretch out. Since this is a flimsier soft material, if your dog does get rambunctious and leans on the sides, it will knock over any water bowls. I just love the portability of this. I can take him into whatever room I am in so he doesn't feel alone. It is an affordable price and I like that the top zips and the side door zips. I got the Medium and my chihuahua is 9 lbs.

I received this and was surprised at how small it is when folded and in the carrying case. It is made like a similar nylon, fold up dog hutch I had for my dog that he used for over ten years; but I plan to use this for a small cat when we are traveling in my RV. I bought the large (36x36) and there is plenty of room for a small bed, water, food, and a couple of toys. It is a simple set up. Just unfold and straighten. It is very light so I will put something in the bottom it to keep it tipping over in the wind. A rambunctious dog or cat can also cause it to collapse (as some viewers reported) but there are no wires or other hard items that will harm the pet. They will just be surprised. I set mine outside, on a screened porch, to air out and so my cat can get used to it. It does have a chemical smell. The zipper was easy once started but like any zipper it needs a straight line to get started. I ended up using a safety pin at the start point to hold it in place otherwise the zipper does not engage fully. Two people are probably better than one on the zipper. The product appears to be well made with a double handle zipper on the door. Like the dog hutch it rolls up and is held in place with Velcro. I didn't find any holes, tears or loose threads. I anticipate this will work very well for how I plan to use it. A lot will depend on the cat. I will try to remember to update my review six months from now after a couple of trips. UPDATE 25 Oct 2018: I have taken my cat on two RV trips with this play pen. The most recent trip was two months long. The playpen was extremely useful allowing my cat to sit outside in an area where he could not be allowed out. He felt safe in the pen and often voluntarily went into the playpen so that he could enjoy good weather. The pen folded up without having to remove the top and dried very quickly when it got wet. My cat was frustrated with the pen a couple of times but his claws did not shred the netting or the nylon. It did collapse on him once but it is so soft he just sat there until help arrived. I have revised my previous rating of a four to a five. A great product.

I was looking for a better sleep option for my 16-year-old terrier mix who suffers from mild dementia and is also deaf and blind. He’s slept in my bed all his life, but recently, he’s been getting spooked at nothing. When he does, he growls, lunges and attempts to bite at it. It had just become too unpredictable and I was afraid he’d bite me on accident. I’d had no luck transitioning him into a crate or any other bed before, but he loves this playpen. When I first set it up, it literally took him three minutes to lie down and go to sleep in the middle of the day. I had put a familiar bed and some blankets in it, and that was all it took. Now, at night, I place him in it when I’m ready for bed and he doesn’t make a peep. It’s the perfect solution. Thank you!

I needed something to confine my 17 yr old cat after a spinal injury caused her to be confined. We needed space for the litter box, water etc and enough space for kitty to move and be able to turn around but not so much she could fall over and injure herself and carrier's did not fit the bill. After looking and looking I came across this pet play pen on Amazon and decided to give it a try . Well it turned out to be the answer to our dilemma, It is well made . Easy to assemble and made with fine materials. It turned out to be perfectly suited to our needs, It fit the litter box and bowls while leaving kitty with the right amount of space for her to move around and be comfortable. It is very hard to find products for rehabilitating cats with spinal injuries. It has a zippered door and the top has a zipped cover which makes it easy to safely remove kitty without causing pain or further injury to her back. It is the perfect size for my living room and kitty can see all around the room. This is now called' Callie' Rehab Facility! I could no have found a better product for my needs. I highly recommend this product it has a multitude of uses for confinement of small pets. It folds down very small and fits in a small carrying case. I consider this an excellent product.I am a true customer bought this on my own .

We found a tiny kitten in running through the ditch of a country road and decided, what's one more? So Cat Number Four joined our crew. She sure is cute, but she is a small furry tornado capable of leveling everything in her path. This playpen works great when the other cats need a break from her or when I need to concentrate on another task instead of making sure she doesn't disappear into the shadows, or pull her off the curtains, or from inside the piano, on top of the bookshelves, etc., etc. It is very easy to open and collapse. There is a side door that unzips, and the top screen unzips completely. The screen is actually very durable, and her tiny razor claws have not shredded it yet, even though she climbs and hangs and swings from it. The only reason for the four stars instead of five is that the bottom is not very sturdy. It is a thin and flimsy material. It already has a few claw holes in it that I'm worried will tear, letting the furry monster free to terrorize the realm. Other than that, this is a great playpen.

I have not had a chance to use this. I am expecting a puppy in four weeks and after being a long time dog owner just preparing. Because I work for out of five days and my retired partially disabled mother lives with me, I wanted to have a safe place for her to put the puppy if she needs a break or cannot keep an eye on him. This is a great little playpen, I have opened it up and checked it out, I am very excited to put to use. I love those zip open side door, this is the first time I’ve had a playpen for one of my puppies. It’s very nice and a very reasonable for the price.

I almost purchased the medium 36 x 36 but at the last second decided on the 48 x 48 which is what the picture shows......I thought it would be too big but its not. I will have a portable potty box in the Play pen as well as a food and water bowl so it is a perfect size to fit it all in. I set it up in order for my kitty to get used to it when we travel.....as you can see he loooooooves it !!! he went right in on his own !!!!! and slept in it all night !!!! I put some old binkys in it and he cozied up and fell asleep. When our trip is done i will use it to put him outside in it so he can enjoy the out doors safely (attended of course)The quality is VERY good.....sturdy pop open no hassles.........the only thing I don't really care for is how top screen attaches. It doesn't have a pull tab to help set it onto the zipper which makes it a bit cumbersome to attach.Other than that i would buy this again but considering the quality it will be a while before i need another one !!!!!!

The only negative is that it has a strong smell to it, I been airing it outside and the smell is slowly going away. It is made well and easy to un-fold and fold back up and the carring bag is great with the matching bowl is handy.I have a 5-pound Chihuahua and she loves it.She is in and out of it all day taking naps in her bed inside it. The zip off top is great as it will make it easier to keep the inside clean and easy way to reach in to get her when she doesn't want to come out. I plan to take it with me when I go for a long visit to my nieces home this way I can keep her safe and not stuck in a wire crate. Plenty of room for her bed and water bowl and room for here to move around in.

I bought this for my chinchilla (i know it’s for cats and dogs) as I’m going on vacation for a week and need to take him with me. He hasn’t tried chewing through the mesh and he actually enjoys being in there. I’m trying to get him used to it now so I let him run around in it for a couple hours. I needed something with a top on it because he can jump 6 feet in the air. I also wanted something that was breathable and lightweight as I’m going to be carrying it back and forth a lot. This is perfect! I love that it folds up back into the bag it came in. The top zips on and off which is convenient and even has a little zip door! I would totally recommend this to anyone that’s looking for one of these. I got the smaller size since my chinchilla is really small. For a cat or dog, get the larger size.

This playpen worked perfectly for my needs. We were bottlefeeding 4 abandoned kittens and they would stay in this playpen at night or when we were away. My only problem is that it wasn't waterproof. I did use puppy pads in the bottom to keep it clean but as they aged, they would sometimes turn over their water or have an accident off the pad before they were litter trained. I think a waterproof bottom would be a great improvement. But over all, it was perfect.

Love this thing, it goes everywhere puppy goes when visiting family or staying in hotels. (we have a 10 lb Lhasapoo) However the base is super light, so as soon as he pops up to peek over the top (or attempts to when the top is closed) it tips over. We came back to the hotel room one day and he had apparently 'hamster walked' it across the room before it collapsed around him. He was laying tangled in it for who knows how long. We felt so bad for him. We had to put barriers up around two sides (along with the corner walls on the other sides). If you don't have confident barriers preventing a tip over, don't leave them unsupervised, especially if the top isn't closed and you're outside. They'll just take off running.

Came on time, was exactly as advertised and we traveled 15 hrs with 2 larger cats inside. Worked great to be in the back seat and have the one side of the seat down and see them to comfort them. The 2 zippers on the opening worked great for sliding my hand in and out of so they couldn't get out, but i could pet them from time to time. We kept them and the pen in the storage area of the SUV. So i could also get to them cautiously from the top to rearrange blankets etc. Not very happy cats, but well contained for the move. thank you

Love this! It's easy to set up and pack back up. It comes with a carrying case and travel bowl. I bought this for my 2 year old Bluetick Coonhound (about 50lbs.) for when we go visit family out of state. Her regular kennel takes up the entire back of my car leaving no room for our bags. I decided instead of hauling that heavy thing around, I'd get her a travel kennel. At first I was hesitant because of her size, but she has ample room in this thing! This is not something I'd put her in all the time because I know my dog is a chewer. But she will be good in it overnight for vacations. There's plenty of room to throw her bed and some toys in there. I will update this after our vacation coming up. :)

I received the puppy playpen today. I bought it for the little Yorkie I will be getting in 6 weeks. It was easy to assemble, its very sturdy , and I love the carrying bag that came with it. . I now have a 5 1/2 pound Yorkie and he fits in there perfectly as you can see . I love the little door in the front although I probably wont need it for awhile . It will be easier to pick her up and put her back using the top zipped part. There is plenty of room for her water, food bowl, pee pad and bed. I cant wait to get Suzi. She is going to love it. Its great quality merchandise for the price. I bought the smaller size and its perfect .

I bought this for my 2 month old , 1 1/2 pound Chihuahua puppy. I wanted an enclosure to insure Rocky's safety. We often have young grandchildren running about and we dont want him accidentally stepped or fallen on. This playpen fits the bill. We can put his favorite toys and bedding in with him also allowing him room to play around. I also like to zip the top closed if our pup falls asleep to keep my cats away from him until he's bigger. We keep it set up in our Living room with the side door rolled up & Rocky is able to go in & out as he pleases. We also found the carry case convenient when we took Rocky and his playpen to a sitter. BTW, little puddles actually bead up instead of absorbing into he material. Win!! Thanks for a great product & fast delivery!

I bought the large size pen to use with a foster puppy I had staying with me. Awesome alternative to the giant wire crate I have for my big dogs...and the portability is a huge bonus. I was able to easily move this around the house and bring it with me when we traveled to Thanksgiving. The puppy loved it and it was roomy enough for her to stretch out and sleep and have room to roll around and play. My only complaint is that the zipper on the top piece gives me a lot of trouble and is tricky to zip up or pulls apart sometimes and then I have to wrestle with it to get it back together. Works fine once I get it zipped and closed up (puppy can't get out) but it can be a pain sometimes. Might just be a defective one I got and it's bad enough to make me want to return it, but I docked a star for it. Overall, very happy with this pen and will use for many foster puppies to come!

I bought this pet playpen new corgi puppy. So far, it has been the perfect solution for our apartment when we can't supervise her every move and for when we take her out to families/friends homes. It separates her from other adult dogs while still allowing them to sniff and get to know each other in a safe, supervised way. We have used it outside for a kids birthday party so she could be free to enjoy herself, play with toys, and spend time with us at the park while also allowing air flow and blocking her from the sun when it started getting to warm. She's had an unfortunate potty accident while playing in it, and after I wiped it clean and used a pet deodorizer the smell was completely gone (at least to my nose). It is sturdy, easy to pack away or take with us in the carrying case and it comes with a zipper DOOR. So she's now being trained to go in on her own with the command 'go play'. It's also taller, and a bit roomier than I initially though, which is a huge bonus for us as she grows up. The travel bowl is super convenient and its the perfect accessory for her outdoor training sessions, longer walks in the park and I see us making use of it during travel. I absolutely LOVE LOVE this playpen. I HIGHLY recommend it for any young puppy owner. I see it lasting us a very long time, especially since we are 'dog people' and she will not be our last puppy.

Love this! I bought it for my 6 week old kitten and it has been perfect. We took it camping and it was just what we needed to allow her to enjoy the outside without danger. It was also perfect for safely introducing her to new brothers as well (3 pooches) We use it pretty much daily. I do wish the carrying case was a little more durable but it will do.

Awesome for our little one to keep in one place for now. It has the newness stink but sprayed with fabreeze and put on the outside porch for an hour and that seemed to help. The portability makes it easier to put our little one wherever we are and it fits nicely in the back of the suv for complete protection for her too.We have 3 small dogs and they all fit in it nicely. I especially bought it for our newest little one because at 1.2 pound and 6 weeks old, I wanted her to get accustomed to the others without being overwhelmed!! It works!!

Really good quality for a pretty decent price! This is perfect for my needs. I ordered the large 48 inch for my two Boston terrier mixes. It will be perfect to take camping and use outside to keep them corralled. Most of the reviews are very good, I saw a couple bad ones. But I think those people were trying to use this in place of a crate when the dog is not being supervised. That is not what this is for. It is made of nylon and mash. Most dogs could tear through that when left alone. However this would be perfect for any time you need to corral a dog while still under your supervision. It seems very sturdy, the carrying case is really nice. It was super easy to pop up and set in place. The large is the perfect size for my two 20 pound dogs. They still have plenty of room to get up and walk around.
